Ok I’ll be honest: Super stoked that Blink FINALLY has a new single!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And dude, the vocals are screaming hot. But The darker sounding intro (which rolls around again after the first verse and again at the ending) just doesn’t really mesh with the rest of the song and it reminds me of the music from their previous album which I like- but i just prefer their music from an earlier time. I’m not expecting them to come up with the pee pee poo poo joke songs (goodness knows you can keep it up for only so long) that I’ve come to know and love, but I wish the SOUND of their songs could be like an improved reflection of that earlier era.
Enough negatives, here’s whole chunk of awesomeness:
-hearing Mark & Tom’s voice again (I swoon)
- that AVA vibe in the song which I am going NUTS over
- Travis doing what he does best, and always will (harder faster harder faster)
- the overall vibe of the song kicks ass
- OY, HERE’S A NEW SINGLE FROM BLINK, IT’S IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO LIKE IT
