summer/autumn kabookie
This is so officially my summer/autumn of tv shows.
The Drew Carey Show: comfort food. The tales of a born loser and his 3 friends. Shoutout to miss Mimi Bobeck! Great for its lines and comebacks. "Has anyone mistaken you for a woman?"
Monk: comfort food. Obsessive-compulsive brilliant detective who solves impossible cases. After awhile you'll think like him. Great for stay-in-bed days and mystery junkies. Or people who're obsessed with OCD. Pun intended.
Whose Line is it Anyway?: Sketch/improv show. I can't say more or I'll vomit a whole essay on these guys. Great for improv/any of the actors' junkies.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager: Soap opera for teens. Includes themes on teen pregnancy, high school challenges, family life and some Christianity (I have no idea how this links it all up as its SO outta point) Great for when you're in hibernation mode.
90210: In my opinion, a better version of Gossip Girl sans fashion. GG's too bitchy and glitzy. But I just
may check it out. Great for hibernation mode and teen-drama/highschool junkies, aka when you have nothing better to do. Dips on Dixon and Ethan.
True Blood: PURE AWESOMENESS. Vampire-mortal flicks with some
flava on the side, if you know what I mean. Great for vampire romance junkies or vampire junkies on the whole. The perfect stay-in-sofa drug.
One Tree Hill: Long running (sorta) series on the lives of 5 main characters. Pretty people plus great storylines. Again, stay away if you find teen/young adult dramas repulsive. ok I actually do, but OTH is like one of the few exceptions. Great for drama junkies/chad michael murray or any of the stars' fans. Also, Jamie Scott is the smartest most adorable kid ever.
