The fairly odd parents
I presented my groupMNG article today. Interesting read on same sex parents and their kids.
But it was damn scary. I mean I could literally feel odd, disapproving, uncomfortable vibes from the peeps.
But then, I don't really mind. Asian society, Asian culture, Asian reservations. Totally understood. Their views're respected.
Personally, I don't think I could ever swing both ways.
But I'm all for getting them equal rights. Physically and emotionally.
Some of the most brilliant personalities are there. If only we'd stop gawking at the surface.
What we need is
collaborative action from society. LOL big word from grpmng. Basically, group effort to see them as individuals, not for their sexual orientation. Argh, that word again! Nightmares after BB essay can.
I think we should all learn to love everyone. Even those that make us wish we'd have an aneurysm right on the spot just to be away from them.
"I don't need a baby growing inside me for nine months. For one thing, there's morning sickness. If I'm going to feel nauseous and achy when I wake up, I want to achieve that state the old fashioned way: getting good and drunk the night before."
