WeDon'tNeedToWhisper
I think we don't. But fear's a whole other story.
So many things to become, so much to hide.
Too many judgements, conscious & unconscious.
Of people we're afraid of, look up to, hope to have.
Bah, im just happy someone's distracted.
And the girl was happy the root was distracted with its own problems and trials. She wished she could help, but she didn't want to look like a know-it-all. What she did know: the root needed to do this by itself, and she was not responsible for it. Not yet, at least. Did she hope to? She still doesn't know the answer to that herself. And it was eating her inside out. Till her gut hurt. She wished the root wouldn't notice her feigned strength, her wall. She half wished the other roots would see her like the rest. And help. But not like a faceless soul. She half wished the glorious dreams would come true. But she didn't feel up to it, not after the carousel. At the back of her mind flashed a warning sign. The one that kept her in check, and kept her paralyzed.
Your vows of silence fall all over, the look in your eyes makes me crazy. Down down down down
